Malwina Karpowicz

Creative Director

The creative leader who bridges vision and execution. Malwina perfectly blends her artistic touch with solid financial industry knowledge, making sure every project meets the highest standard while staying grounded in business reality.

As Creative Director at Ajust Design, Malwina oversees the work of the entire design team, bringing both creative expertise and strategic oversight to every project. She collaborates closely with project managers to organize the team’s workflow, and depending on the project’s needs, either leads it directly or guides art directors and designers through the process. Her role centers on one clear mission: maintaining consistently high quality from both conceptual and visual perspectives.

Her path to this position was built on years of working as a designer and later art director in the creative services department of a large financial company, experience that gave her an unusual advantage in the creative field. Where other designers see only aesthetics, Malwina sees how design intersects with business goals, regulatory requirements, and organizational constraints. This financial industry knowledge shapes how she approaches creative work at Ajust, particularly when serving clients in capital markets.

What makes her approach distinctive is the combination of creativity, balanced with analytical thinking and business understanding. While design remains her passion, it always has been since she knew as a teenager that graphic design was her path; her experience taught her to consider every aspect of the client’s business and needs. She enjoys both the creative exploration and the systematic side: breaking down projects, organizing work, and applying a critical eye during reviews to ensure quality.

Her philosophy is straightforward: good design starts with listening. Understanding the client comes first, then translating that insight into clear, purposeful visual communication. This approach informs how she works with the team—designers need space to iterate and explore, not arrive with fully formed visions. The best results come from trying different layouts, experimenting with ideas, and refining through that thoughtful process. Experience makes designers faster and sharper, but the process itself remains essential.

Outside the studio, she invests significant time as a volunteer and animal rights activist. Working with several organizations, she advocates for legal change, influences corporate policies, and raises public awareness about animal welfare. She helps plan events, organize meetups, coordinate signature campaigns, and contribute her design skills to support these causes. When time allows, she works directly at animal shelters. A vegan for years, her activism reflects a core belief: “You can do nothing, or you can do the smallest thing you can, as every action counts.” It’s a principle she brings to both her advocacy and her creative work.
