Oleksandr Khudekovskyi

Chief Marketing Officer and Communication Strategist

The strategist who builds foundations before launching campaigns, Oleksandr approaches marketing with the rigor of a lawyer and the curiosity of a researcher, uncovering the truth about what customers actually need before telling them what to buy.

Oleksandr’s path to marketing wasn’t typical, which is exactly what makes his approach work. A law degree and five years as an attorney’s assistant taught him to build arguments on evidence, not gut feeling, a habit that now shapes how he thinks about brand strategy and customer research.

The shift to marketing started in sales at a design agency, where he spotted a pattern: companies weren’t struggling because they lacked promotional tactics. They struggled because they didn’t understand what they were actually selling or to whom. That insight launched everything. As CMO at two design agencies and a strategic consultant to startups across tech, cybersecurity, AI, and FinTech, he built an approach around a simple truth: you can’t create effective marketing without first understanding the job your customer is hiring you to do.

He uses the Jobs To Be Done framework like a diagnostic tool. Where others rush to launch campaigns, Oleksandr starts with questions. This patience pays off: one agency saw leads jump 70% and revenue double within twelve months. A SaaS company generated 30% more inbound demos in ninety days. The results repeat because the foundation is solid.

At Ajust Design, Oleksandr works in two roles, building the studio’s marketing function from scratch while serving as Communication Strategist for PE firms and portfolio companies wrestling with brand architecture, positioning, and messaging.

It’s deliberate: building Ajust’s marketing proves the approach works, not just sounds good in a deck. Clients can see the thinking in action before deciding whether to apply it to their own challenges.

His philosophy is straightforward: understand customers better, build a strategy on that understanding, and get better outcomes. No shortcuts.

Colleagues know him for staying calm when things get complicated and making decisions even when information is incomplete. Where perfectionism creates paralysis, Oleksandr moves: “Done is better than perfect. Iterate, test, learn.” Progress compounds; overthinking costs.

Outside work, he’s always studying, not just marketing, but brand theory, sales psychology, human behavior, connecting patterns across fields. He keeps his creative eye sharp through photography and videography when time allows.
