The goal is to strike a balance between professionalism and approachability, ensuring alignment with their playful name while establishing a consistent and engaging online presence. Ultimately, the aim is to craft a modern, cool visual brand that the client will take pride in, and to design a website that persuades the target audience to choose and benefit from what they offer.

We’ve chosen to embrace the name through a mark that more literally embodies the yellow rubber duck. The vibrant shade of yellow perfectly enhances the geometrical yet playful shape of the duck. Paired with robust, bold sans-serif typography, this unified approach has crafted a lively and confident brand statement, fostering intrigue and playfulness. The resulting design effectively positions the brand as both assured and approachable experts.
Brand Color Palette & Typography
To achieve a fresh and modern look for the brand,we’ve chosen to minimize the use of yellow. Instead, we’re anchoring the visual identity in a striking black and white contrast, where the Duck Yellow serves as a powerful accent color. Additionally, we introduced a subtle touch of purple to extend the color palette.
The typography was carefully selected to visually align with the character of a tech company. Söhne Breit font emerged as an ideal choice, seamlessly blending classic foundations with modern traits, exuding a dynamic and unique flair.

While developing the concept for the upcoming website, we presented the client with various directions. After careful consideration, we collectively decided to emphasize the value Yellow Duck Coders (YDC) offers its clients through a diverse range of IT solutions delivered by an exceptional team of experts. This led us to opt for a minimalistic yet bold design. To humanize the company, we integrated team photography as a significant element of their brand, underscoring the importance of a professional candid photoshoot. From a website development standpoint, our focus centered on implementing top-notch UI/UX practices, enhanced further with dynamic animations to elevate the overall user experience.

The primary visual focus was to showcase the team through professional photographs in a working environment. As the team photography plays a crucial role on the website, we advised the YDC to organize a dedicated photo session to present the team through professional photographs captured in a working environment. We proposed a photography style that authentically reflects the brand—showcasing genuine team interactions while maintaining consistency in tones, lighting, and depth of field.
